Upgrades

From the panel

The panel lists only sizes with more memory than the one you have. You pay the difference through Stripe Checkout. The plan and the monthly amount change after Stripe confirms the payment.

The current server stays in the same city and on the same image. A rebuild is a separate action and asks you to type the hostname.

What an upgrade is not

An upgrade does not move you to a smaller size, does not change the city, and does not store a card for later. If the city has no room for the larger size, the request is refused before Stripe opens.
